Manage your notifications and decide which ones you want to receive.
Navigation: UKG Learning > My Avatar > Settings > View Notifications
There are four different tabs to choose from:
- Academies
- Courses
- Learning Paths
- Groups
Academies
Under Academies, you can control notifications that are triggered by general actions within the academy, for example when someone comments on a Wall post or when someone sends you an Academy group invitation.
Under the Individual tab, you can control the notifications that your academy has activated for its users.
Under the Global tab, you can control the notifications coming from Schoox and content providers.
When you are finished, Save your changes or Restore them to the default. You can perform this action only for this academy or for all academies you are a member of.
Courses
Under Courses, you can control notifications that are triggered by various course actions, such as when you are awarded a certificate or when someone enrolls in a course you have created.
Under the Learner tab, you can control the notifications that you receive as a Learner. The list includes all Courses that you are currently enrolled in.
Under the Instructor tab, you can control the notifications that you receive as an Instructor. The list includes all the courses you have created.
When you are finished, Save your changes or Restore them to the default. You can perform this action only for this course or for all courses where you are a Learner or Instructor.
Note:
You cannot turn off all course notifications that you receive from your Academy, as most of them can only be managed by your Academy Admins.
If you are an instructor and you want to to turn off a specific notification for everyone (for example, the notification 'Someone completed your course'), you can do so directly from the admin interface.
Turning off this notification at the academy level will also override and hide the individual notification setting.
To update this setting:
- Navigate to UKG Learning > Academy Worskspace > Notifications > Academy > Courses & learning paths.
- Locate the [Employee] completed a course notification.
- Toggle it off to turn it off it academy-wide.
Once disabled, instructors will no longer receive notifications when someone completes one of their courses. Additionally, the personal notification setting will be hidden, reflecting that the notification is turned off at the system level.
Learning Paths
Under Learning Paths, you can control notifications that are triggered by various learning path actions such as when you are awarded a certificate.
Under the Learner tab, you can control the notifications that you receive as a Learner. The list includes all Curricula that you are currently enrolled in.
When you are finished, Save your changes or Restore them to the default. You can perform this action only for this learning path or for all learning paths where you are a Learner.
Groups
Under Groups, you can control notifications that are triggered by various group actions such as when someone comments on your group wall post.
Under the Member tab, you can control the notifications that you receive as a member of a Group. The list includes all Groups that you are currently a member of.
Under the Admin tab, you can control the notifications that you receive as a Group Admin. The list includes all Groups where you are currently an Admin.
When you are finished, Save your changes or Restore them to the default. You can perform this action only for this group or for all groups where you are a Member or Admin.
Note:
Most Academy notifications can only be managed by Academy Administrators.
