Administrators can bulk update users' preferred time zone for individuals or groups by setting automated rules to change the preferred time zone.
Navigation: UKG Learning > Academy Workspace > Academy Admin > Organization > Set Time Zones
- Select the time zone you want to set as preferred, using the search field if needed.
- Select employees using one of two methods.
- By Person
- Use the search field and drop-down filter menus. In order to select an individual, select the + symbol. The user will move to the "Selected users" column. To remove an individual from the list, select the - symbol.
- Add a message, if needed.
- Select Set Time zone
- By Criteria
- Select the Above Units and Units, using the filters if needed. The number of selected users will be displayed.
- Check Automated rule to create a rule for this time zone that will also be applied to future hires.
Note:
These automated rules are not scheduled. They are triggered only when the user's organizational structure is added or updated. - Check Exclude existing academy members if you want this to only pertain to future members, as opposed to assigning it now.
- Add a message, if needed.
- Select Set Preferred Time zone or Set Time Zone Now and Set Rule (option depends on your automated rule selection).
- Select the Above Units and Units, using the filters if needed. The number of selected users will be displayed.
