Configure Course Settings

After creating a course (see the Create a Course help topic), there are multiple settings within the course management that can be used to set it up to your liking.

Select the appropriate course.

Available Settings

The following options are available on the Course Panel:

  • Preview Course: Opens the course info page
  • Quick Tools: Returns you to the Course Management page.
  • Edit Course:
    • General General Info: Edit the course details.
    • Edit Promotional Video & Logo
    • Course Thumbnail: Upload a thumbnail for the course or select one from the Resources.
    • Copy Course
    • Archive Course
    • Delete Course
  • Prerequisites: Set up prerequisite courses or learning paths for the course
    • Courses
    • Curricula
  • Configurator
  • Lectures: Add lectures and/or supplemental material for your lectures.
  • Create In-Class Events and/or Live Sessions for this Course.
  • On the Job Training: Create an On the Job Training task or edit the existing ones.
  • Exams: Create an exam for your course or edit the existing ones.
  • Polls: Create a poll to track your employees' feedback or opinions or manage the existing ones.
  • Certificates: Create a custom certificate for this specific course. The configuration options are the same as configuring your Academy's custom certificate.
  • Badge: Create a badge to automatically award employees completing the course.
  • Students:
    • Training Announcements: Send course announcements to enrolled users
    • Assign Training
    • Unassign Training
    • Course Dashboard: View the course on My Team's Dashboard
    • Hourly Worker Access: Manage course access for hourly workers 
  • Instructors: Update the Instructors of your Course, add new ones, or remove previous ones.
