Change the Learning Path Creator

When a learning path is created, there are two roles involved:

• Creator
• Primary Instructor

You cannot change the creator of the learning path, but you are able to change the primary instructor.

Navigation: UKG Learning > Academy Workspace > Training Admin > Manage Training > Learning Paths

Changing Instructor

1. Select the Learning Path you want to change the instructor for.
2. On the Learning Path Panel select Instructors. If you already have multiple instructors, you can go directly to Manage Instructors. Otherwise, you can add a new instructor under Add Instructors.
   1. To add a new instructor, select Add Instructors.
   2. Select the + (plus icon) next to the name.
   3. Scroll down and Save. Both instructors appear under Manage Instructors.
3. To change the Primary Instructor under Manage Instructors, set the primary instructor and select Save. If there is only one instructor, this option is unavailable.

Note:

If the primary instructor of a Learning Path is deactivated, the Learning Path is transferred to another primary instructor, depending on the category.

• • If the learning path is in a normal training category, the Academy Admin is automatically selected as the Learning Path's primary instructor.
  • If the Learning Path is in a decentralized training category, the “owner” of the decentralized category (Head of/Assistant Head of) is set as the Learning Path's primary instructor.

    • If there are more than one category "owners", all of them are added as instructors to the Learning Path and one of them (randomly) is set as the primary instructor.

    • If there is no "owner" in this decentralized category, the Academy Admin is set as the Learning Path's primary instructor.
