Create a Task Pool for Course Connected On-the-Job Training

You can create task pools for course-associated On-the-Job Training tasks. Pools as a feature are related to courses, and cannot be used in standalone On-the-Job Training.

On-the-Job Training Pools allow you to create a pool of tasks that then can be used in other On-the-Job Training. The Pool belongs to the owner, and can contain tasks they created within any academy.

Non-admin users can only view and add questions from their own pools and admin/training manager pools. They cannot see other users' pools. However, admins of the academy can use these groups of tasks in order to create new OJTs.

Navigation: UKG Learning > Academy WorkspaceTraining Admin > Manage TrainingOn-the-Job Training

On the left-hand side, select the Part of course filter to view your Course-Connected On-the-Job Training, and then choose the appropriate item from the list.

Add Tasks to Pools

  1. When adding a new task to your On-the-Job Training, select Add to pool and create a new pool.
  2. Give a name to your OJT pool.
  3. You can also place your task in an existing pool by selecting the desired one instead of creating a new one. If you want to add multiple questions to a pool at once, use the check boxes next to the desired questions and select Add to Pool.
  4. Select OK

The next time that you create a new On-the-Job Training step, you will be able to add an existing task to your step. You will also have the option to edit the task you add without affecting the task in the pool.

Add Tasks from Pools

  1. In the On-the-Job Training Panel, select Task Pools. This gives you an overview of all On-the-Job Training Tasks that are currently in pools.

  2. Use the filter options to select a specific Task Type or Pool.Pool.jpg
  3. Select Add to On-the-Job Training to add the task.

If a specific pool is chosen in the filter options, you can select Add All to add all tasks in the selected pool to the On-the-Job Training.

When you go back to Edit Tasks in the On-the-Job Training panel, you can edit the tasks in the On-the-Job Training without affecting the task as it is in the pool.
