Users with Admin rights, Training Managers who have the Invite/register members to Academy Events permission, as well as Managers with the Register Members to Events permission, can register users to events through the Instructor-Led Training page.
Navigation: UKG Learning > Team Workspace > Instructor-Led Training
- Locate and select the event and its offering.
- Select the ... (ellipses) menu for the offer.
- Select Register team members.
Or, select Unregister Team Members to remove a member's registration, following the same steps below.
Now you can start registering users. This can be either done by person, by criteria, or you can use mass registration through an Excel sheet.
By Person
- Select By person. Users who are not yet registered will have a plus next to their name. When registering users to a course-connected event, only users enrolled in this course are available.
- Select the + (plus) icon to add them. You can select the - (minus) icon in the list of selected users to deselect them.
- (Optional) Add a message
- Select Register.
By Criteria
If you want to select a group of users based on their job(s) and (above) units, or through a pre-made Organizational Template you can select users by criteria.
- Select By criteria.
- Select users by Job, Above Unit, and Unit.
- (Optional) Add a message.
- Select Register to register the users.
Mass Registration
Admins, Training Managers and users with the Manage Event Members permission can register multiple users at once and manage attendance data by uploading a template.
Navigation: UKG Learning > Team Workspace > Instructor-Led Training
- Locate and select the event and its offering.
- Select the ... (ellipses) menu for the offer.
- Select Manage registrants.
- Open the three-dot menu within the registration page and choose Download template to obtain the Excel file.
- Complete the template with the required information for each participant.
- Return to the same menu, select Upload template, and upload the completed file to finalize the mass registration.
Note:
There is no limit to the number of records that can be added through the template.
User Registration - Notes
- You can add registrants after the completion of the event.
- You cannot add registrants if your event is an invitation-based event.
- You can add registrants while your event is in progress.
- When a user is deactivated, they are automatically unregistered from any upcoming events where they have not yet been marked as attended. The seats released by this action become available for other registrants. If the user is later reactivated, they will not be automatically re-enrolled in those events.
