Connect a GoToTraining Account to an Academy

You can use a GoToTraining account in the Learning solution to connect to your virtual events.

Note:
Other types of LogMeIn account, such as GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar, are not compatible. Only GoToTraining is compatible for the LogMeIn integrations.

  1. Enter your credentials in the window that opens when you select Connect
  2. Select the type of GoToTraining account you want to connect. The restrictions on your GoToTraining account apply in the Learning solution as well. For example, if you have a GoToTraining account that supports up to 25 users, you may only invite 25 users to your event. Logme_in.jpg 

Use Your Account in Events

After the integration of the accounts you can continue with the creation of your virtual events in the Training Admin Workspace.

When your event is created, you need to initiate the event to sync it with your GoToTraining account.

Navigation: UKG LearningAcademy WorkspaceTraining AdminManage TrainingVirtual Events

  1. Locate the event you want to initiate from the list. In the Status column, you can see your upcoming events.
  2. Select the Initiate event button.
  3. Sselect the account that you want to use for your event (in the pop-up window).
  4. Select Initiate.

You can cancel the initiation of an event that was done in error.

When you are ready to start your event, select the associated Start Event button, and you will be redirected to your GoToTraining account. 

 

Important:

  • Only users that have registered in the Learning solution with their emails can participate in virtual events. Users with usernames can't be registered in virtual events. 
  • You need to have at least one registrant to start the event. 
  • Virtual events can only be one-day events.
