You can make learners aware that a course is available without making it mandatory. Administrators and those with the Assign permission can invite members to enroll in a course. This sends the learner an invitation request, and they can decide whether or not to enroll.
Navigation: UKG Learning > Team Workspace > Self-Paced Training > Invite Learners
- Select Courses or Learning Paths. The process is the same for both.
- Select the desired training.
- Select to invite By person or an By criteria.
- By person allows you to select your team members manually by clicking their associated + (plus) icon.
- By criteria allows you to select a group of users based on their job and location. You have the choice of inviting users to enroll in this course one time or setting up a rule that will automatically invite individuals under these parameters in the future.
- Check Automated invitation rule to turn this invitation into a rule for future academy members.
- Check Exclude academy team members joined before and enter a date to apply this rule only to members who join after that date.
- Automated Invitation Rules usually only select completely new members in the Academy. If someone is reactivated in the academy, they will not be invited. To include reactivated users within this rule, select Include Reactivations.
- (Optional) Add a personal message.
- Select Invite Learners (Now and Set Rule, if setting an advanced assignment rule).
