Administrators have the option to show an introduction video to academy administrators, managers, and members. You can set a different video for each group. When an introduction video has been set for the specified group, upon the first time of logging into the Academy, they will be shown this video as an introduction.
Navigation: UKG Learning > Academy Workspace > Settings > Academy > Team Member Settings
First, you need to activate the intro video for your preferred group of users.
Under Academy Introduction Video there are three options:
- Show video for Academy Admins
- Show video for Academy Managers
- Show video for Academy Members
When activating any of these three options, you can add a video link from YouTube or Vimeo.
Select the desired options to display these videos when a member logs in on the web or in the mobile app.
Select Save when finished.
Note:
When adding a YouTube video, make sure to use the full YouTube URL format, instead of shortened links (such as youtu.be/...).
Use a Resources Video
For Admins and Managers you can only use a YouTube or Vimeo link as the video. For Members you can chose to upload a video from the Resources as well.
- Make sure the Introduction Video toggle for Academy team members is on.
- Make sure that your video is uploaded in your Resources and thus hosted on the Learning platform.
- Navigate to Learner Workspace > Resources
- Select the video you wish to use for the introduction and select on View details.
- Select Copy link.
- Paste the link into the Show video for Academy team members field in Team Member Resources.
- Select Save.
The video is set as the Introduction Video for all Academy team members.
