Virtual Events and In-Class Training are used for training and gatherings that are done either virtually (through Zoom, WebEx, Teams, and so on) or in-person. Events can exist as part of a course or as a standalone offer. An event could be single-day or have multiple sessions over several days.
You can either register for an event through the event page or through the Calendar.
Navigation: UKG Learning > Learner Workspace > Training
Register from the Calendar
- Under Training, select Calendar. Any open events you can register for appear here.
- Select an event.
- Select the Register button.
Register from the Catalog
- Under Training, select Catalog. This gives you an overview of all available training that you can enroll in.
Select the Events tab to find all events you can register for.
- Select an event. You are sent to the event page.
- Select the Manage Your Registrations button.
- Select the Find Date button. A calendar opens.
- Select the training from the calendar.
- Select Register.
Sometimes, you must complete all available offers to be marked as completing the event. In these cases, only one Register button is available at the top of the page. This button registers you to all the needed event offers. Once you select the Register button either the host will need to approve your registration, or you will be registered automatically based on the event's setup.
Once you have registered for an event, you can find the event under My Training under Upcoming Events.
Calendar Options
Depending on the way your academy is set up, your Calendar shows not just your events, but allows you to filter between the event status:
- Registered
- Not Registered
- Pending Approval
- Not Approved
To open the filters and filter by status, select the filter icon.
However, even without filters, you can still see whether or not you are registered at a glance.
- Unregistered events have an empty circle before the event name
- Registered events have a filled circle before the event name
Note:
You cannot register for an event once it is in progress. Please ensure your registration is finalized before the event begins.
