Import the Learning iCal to an External Calendar

ICal is a standard in which an .ics calendar file contains information about an event and can be opened on several calendar programs, including Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar, and Apple Calendar.

In Learning, you can download an iCal event for the Events that you are a participant in so that you can store the information, such as the event date and time, in your personal calendar.

First, navigate to the Events listings page and find the event that you want to save to your calendar.

Once you are on the event's About page, select the iCal option at the top of the page to download the .ics file for this event. Your download begins immediately.

Now you can add this file to your calendar.

Import the iCal to your Google Calendar

Please note that while the options mentioned above are available within the platform, you also have the ability to sync your external Google and Outlook calendars directly from your personal settings. This method enables real-time updates, as the synchronization is initiated by Learning. For the most accurate and reliable calendar integration, we recommend using the calendar sync feature available in your personal settings, as it provides a more consistent connection between your calendars.
