Every learner has access to the Public Resources. This can be a powerful tool for you to receive and share knowledge with other members of your Academy.
Academy Resources
Navigation: UKG Learning > Learner Workspace > Resources
How your resources show depends on the Academy Settings. Either you see all resources, or you have the option of a stream, with other resources below that. If streams are set up, they can be the following:
Promoted: Content promoted by your Academy.
Recently Seen: Recently viewed resources
Favorites: Your favorite resources
Most Popular: The most popular resources in your academy.
Streams will only appear when there is relevant content to display. If no items meet the specified criteria, the stream section in not visible.
Resources Visible to Me
In general, the set of content items that is available for you on this page is defined by the Sections and Categories that you have access to. Your Resources has a non-editable category called Shared Content and may have multiple other editable categories. You can see these categories under the Filter option.
Based on your role and permissions, and how each category is set up, you may be able to see, add and manage the content items in different categories.
The content resources categories can only be defined by an Admin or a Content Manager. Read more: Manage Resource Sections and Categories
Search for Resources
To find the content you want, you can filter the content by selecting a specific section or category from the left side of the page.
You can use the search bar or filters to further define your selection. The search engine not only searches through the titles and metadata of relevant resources, but also the text and information within them. This means when you search for a term, results show any content that includes that word or phrase, with content with a higher usage of the terms appearing higher.
Note:
If you are unable to locate a specific document using the search bar, verify whether any filters are applied that may limit the results to certain content types.
Edit Content
Based on your role and permissions, and how each category is set up, you may be able to edit the content items in different categories.
Select the Edit button in the top right.
If you just want to change the category or delete content, you can select the training and select Change Categories or Delete in the top-right.
Otherwise, select View Details and Edit Resource.
Here you can change the name, description, language, expiration date, and category for this specific resource.
Add Content
Based on your role and permissions, and how each category is set up, you may be able to add content items to different categories. If you have permission to add content, you will be able to see the Add option on the top of the page, giving you the option to add a file or online resource.
Document View
Document default view is set as Page Width to allow for easier readability. In addition, a full-screen option is included in the upper-right corner.
