Beginning February 9, 2026 Administrators can enable the new experience preview for both Learners and Permissioned users, allowing these groups of users to explore and try out the new user experience in their Learning Academy.Users will be presented with the option to turn on the new experience when accessing their Learning Academy, and they will be able to switch back and forth between the experiences during this exploration period, until July 13th, 2026. To access your Learning Academy, log in to your UKG Pro® solution and navigate to Team > Learning > Learning > Access Learning. Trying out this new experience will help you get comfortable with the changes and prepare your teams for the rollout of the user experience later this year.
Note:
By granting users early access to the new design, the goal is to help them prepare their organization for the upcoming rollout and allow users to proactively plan for the future production rollout (October 1st, 2026), minimizing disruptions and ensuring a successful transition.
Users see a splash screen when they log into an Academy where the new experience is available:
Select the Check it out button to go to the new experience. Once inside the new experience, switch back to the Classic experience at any time by selecting the Switch to classic design button in the header. There is also a button in the Classic experience to move you back to the new look.
Once you activate the new experience, the splash screen changes.
Select:
- Show me a Quick Tour to be guided around the workspaces
- Show me Basic Navigation of the key features to view a video on basic navigation
- Take me to UKG's Knowledge Base to review articles for your role as a Learner, Admin, or Training Manager
- Take me to On Demand Training videos to review our video library
- Don't show me again to close the pop-up and prevent it from displaying again
- Prompt me next time to close the pop-up and display it the next time you log in
The pop-up will show again the next time you log in until you select Don't show me again.
