Events in User Calendars Are Missing

Scenario

A user cannot find a specific event in their Learning calendar or on the Events page, even though they have visibility into the event category.

Explanation

This issue occurs when the event is set to Private.

Even if the user meets the visibility requirements for the event category and has the appropriate permissions (for example, Read access), private events do not display. This includes all offers when the event is configured as a repeated event with multiple offers.

Resolution

To make the event visible to the appropriate users, change the visibility setting from Private to Public.

Navigation: UKG Learning > Academy Workspace > Training Admin > Manage Training > In-Class Events or Virtual Events

  1. Select the event you want to update.

  2. On the event details page, change the visibility from Private to Public.
