Overview
When a user navigates the Academy workspace, they may expect to see the Courses option in the Manage Training drop-down list. If the Courses option does not appear, they likely do not have the permission to create courses.

Scenario
A manager signs in and does not see the Courses option in the Manage Training drop-down list, even though they are expected to manage or work with courses.
Why this happens
The Courses page only appears for users who have permission to create courses. If the user's role does not include the Create Courses permission. The page is hidden. This ensures users see only the tools that apply to their role.
Enable access to the Courses page
To provide access to the Courses page, update the user's role to include the Create Courses permission.
Navigation: UKG Learning > Academy Workspace > Academy Admin > Organization > Manage Jobs > Roles > select the role assigned to the user > Settings
- Under Courses, select the Create Courses checkbox.
- Select Save. After you enable this permission, the Courses option appears in the Manage Training drop-down list the next time the user accesses the Academy workspace.
Summary
If a user does not see the Courses option in the Manage Training drop-down list, the Create Courses permission is not enabled for their role. Enable this permission to allow the user to access and manage courses.
