Go1 provides top learning content from industry-leading providers. You can integrate your Go1 content library with your academy in UKG Learning.
Set up the integration
Navigation: UKG Learning > Academy Workspace > Settings > Training > External content providers
- Contact your UKG Learning representative to enable the Go1 option in your academy settings.
- Turn on the Go1 Integration toggle.
- Enter the credentials provided by your Go1 content provider:
- Client ID
- Client Secret
- Go1 Admin Email
- Portal Domain
- Select Save.
- Choose whether to enable the Allow newly added Go1 files to overwrite existing versions option.
- When enabled, information from an imported Go1 file replaces the information in matching existing lectures.
- When disabled, existing lecture information remains unchanged, and the system creates duplicate lectures instead.
- Select Save, then select Import content.
Grant Training Managers Access to External Content Provider Settings
Grant the Training Manager role access to manage external content provider integrations, including Go1.

- Select the Connect external content providers checkbox.
Understand Go1 integration behavior
The following scenarios describe what happens when you disconnect and reconnect the Go1 integration.
When the Go1 integration toggle is turned off
When you turn off the Go1 Integration toggle and select Save, the system behavior depends on whether a Go1 background process is running.
If background processes are running
If a Go1 background process, such as a content import, is in progress, the following message appears:
Heading: Processing your request
Message: Your previous request is still being processed in the background. This may take some time. We'll notify you once the process is complete.
Wait until the background process finishes before turning off the integration.
If no background processes are running
If no Go1 background processes are running, selecting Save displays a confirmation dialog.
Heading: Disconnect Go1 integration?
Message: All synced courses and lectures from Go1 will be archived, but don't worry—your learners' progress will be safe and still available in reports.
The dialog includes the following options:
- Cancel (X): closes the dialog without making changes.
- Disconnect: disconnects the integration and begins the archival process.
After you select Disconnect:
- All synced Go1 courses are archived.
- Lectures created from Go1 AICC files become non-visible and non-editable.
- Previously verified Go1 credentials are retained for future use.
When you turn the Go1 integration toggle back on
When you turn the Go1 Integration toggle back on, the system behavior depends on whether a Go1 background process is running.
If background processes are running
If Go1 courses are still being archived, the following message appears:
Heading: Your Go1 courses are being archived
Message: You won't be able to turn the integration back on until the process is complete.
Wait until the archival process finishes before turning the integration back on.
If no background processes are running
If no Go1 background processes are running:
- Previously integrated Go1 courses remain archived.
- You can import Go1 content.
Import Go1 content after reconnecting the integration
When you select Import content, the system checks the Go1 portal used for the original integration.
If the portal domain matches the original
- Previously imported courses are restored from the archived state.
- New courses are imported as new entries.
If the portal domain is different from the original
- Previously imported courses are recreated as new courses. Archived versions remain archived.
- New courses are imported as new entries.
Select and import Go1 courses
To import Go1 courses:
- Select Import content. A window will appear, taking you into your Go1 account.
- In the Go1 window, add any course you want to import to your library.
- Select Library.
- Select Sync at the bottom of the course list.
The import process may take several minutes or longer, depending on the amount of content you selected and current system activity. For example, importing a large number of courses may take several hours.
You will receive a notification when the import is complete.
Note: You cannot start another import until the current import finishes.
Manage imported Go1 courses
Imported Go1 courses are automatically added to preconfigured categories in your academy.
You can manage Go1 courses just as you would other courses in your academy. For example, you can:
- Assign courses to learners.
- Run reports on course activity.
- Create badges.
- Create certificates.
- Prepare the notifications.
Note: Instructor information isn't imported from Go1.
Each imported Go1 course automatically includes the following tags:
- Go1 content source
- Content provider
- Course duration
- Learning object ID
The content provider's name appears throughout UKG Learning, including on the My Training, Catalog, and About pages.
Take a Go1 course
To begin a Go1 course, select Start Course.
The course opens in the Go1 interface within your academy.
Your progress is tracked as you complete the course. If you leave a course before completing a chapter, you may need to restart that chapter when you return.
