Custom fields help you capture additional information for courses, learning paths, and events. For example, you can mirror fields from your HRIS or create additional fields for organizational purposes.
Add a custom field
Navigation: UKG Learning > Academy Workspace > Settings > Training > Custom fields
- Select the appropriate tab:
- Events
- Courses
- Learning Paths
- Select Add field.
- At the Name field, enter a name for the custom field.
- Select the field type that best supports your needs.
- Text: Allows users to enter text.
- Number: Allows users to enter a numeric value.
- Date: Allows users to select a date.
- Datetime: Allows users to select a date and time.
- Dropdown: Allows users to select a value from a predefined list. After you select this field type, add one or more dropdown options.
- Select Save. The custom field is now available when you create or edit a course, learning path, or event.
