The Leaderboards gadget helps learners track their standings in active leaderboards.
Set Up the Leaderboards Gadget
Navigation: UKG Learning > Academy Workspace > Academy Admin > Configuration > General > Homepage Editor
- Select the Homepage Workspace configuration you want to update. You can select one of the default configurations or a custom configuration.
- Select Choose Gadget, then select Leaderboards.
- Select Add.
- Select Save. The Leaderboards gadget is added to the selected Homepage Workspace configuration and appears in learners' Homepage Workspace.
Note: The Leaderboards gadget is available on the web application only.
Leaderboards gadget functionality
The gadget displays up to five active leaderboards in which the logged-in user is participating. Leaderboards are displayed in a carousel. Learners can navigate between them using the arrows or the navigation dots.
Each leaderboard displays:
- The logged-in user
- The participant ranked immediately above the logged-in user
- The participant ranked immediately below the logged-in user
- The learner's current rank
- Points earned
The logged-in user is highlighted, making it easy to identify their position in the leaderboard.
The gadget also displays the number of points needed to reach the next rank.
Selecting View leaderboard opens the leaderboard page, where learners can view their current rank, earned points, and other participants.
