All the training you are currently enrolled in or are assigned to is available on the My Training page. My Training includes all of the courses, learning paths, microlearning, instructor-led events, and On-the-Job trainings you have either been assigned or to which you've enrolled.
Navigation: UKG Learning > Learner Workspace > Training > My Training
This page has three tabs:
- Overview: This is an overview of all your currently assigned training.
- In Progress: This shows all the training you are enrolled in.
- Completed: This shows all the training you have completed.
Overview
The overview tab gives you an overview of your current training.
The Hide connected training checkbox controls the visibility of child training items—such as courses, events, On-the-Job Trainings, and polls—that are associated with parent training items in the My Training streams.
By default, the checkbox is selected and is available in the following streams:
- Overdue
- Upcoming Due Dates
- Training in Progress
- Upcoming Events
- Self-Enrolled Training
- Polls
Overdue stream: Clear the Hide connected training checkbox to show overdue courses connected to learning paths.
Upcoming Due Dates stream: Clear the Hide connected training checkbox to show courses connected to learning paths with upcoming due dates.
Training in Progress stream: Clear the Hide connected training checkbox to show courses connected to learning paths and On-the-Job Trainings connected to courses.
Upcoming Events stream: Clear the Hide connected training checkbox to show events connected to courses or learning paths.
Self-Enrolled Training stream: Clear the Hide connected training checkbox to show self-enrolled training connected to courses or learning paths.
Polls stream: Clear the Hide connected training checkbox to show polls connected to courses, learning paths, or events.
In addition, this option is available as a filter on the In Progress and Completed tabs of the My Training page.
Note: This setting is specific to your account. You can change it at any time. If you prefer to see child training items, clear the Hide connected training checkbox.
My Annotations shows you how many annotations you made on different kinds of training. For example, in the below screenshot all annotations have been made on courses, with a total of five notes (notes and highlights) and one clip. You can click on it to view all your annotations. See Use Annotations in Courses and Learning Paths to learn more on how to use them.
The Training in progress stream shows all training you are currently working on. You can scroll left to right to see more. It also shows whether you enrolled yourself or got the training assigned, which kind of training it is, your current progress, the rating of the training, and the expected time to complete. This stream displays up to 16 items. To view all available training, select All training in progress.
The Self enrolled stream only shows training you enrolled in voluntarily. It will not show any training that has been assigned to you by someone else. This stream displays up to 16 items. To view all available training, select All self-enrolled training.
Hovering over a training gives you the option to select Quick View, which provides additional details and allows you to navigate to the associated training or learning path. This also helps you confirm whether a course is part of a learning path.

Note: Learners can still personalize their own sorting preferences. If they change their sorting, their selection is saved and remains in effect until they update it again.
In Progress
Here you can find the training you are currently enrolled in. You can easily change the view in the top-right menu. The default view is set at the academy level.
If training is sorted on Objective Type and your Admin turned on the Members' Dashboard in the Academy Settings, you can find your Mini Dashboards here.
You also have the option to filter the training. This makes it easier to find a specific training. Click on the filter button to see the available filters.

Configure the default sorting
If you are an Academy Admin, you can configure the default sorting of the Completed page for your learners. Navigate to Academy Workspace > Settings > Training > Default sorting options and under My Training select the drop-down for Completed.
From there, select the Training filter type and find the Default sorting options setting.
Under My Training, locate Completed. You can configure the default sorting using the following options:
- View by training type
- View by objective type
- View by completion date (Oldest to newest or Newest to oldest)
- View by priority (Lowest to highest or Highest to lowest)
- View alphabetically (A–Z or Z–A)
When you save your changes, the selected sorting determines how content is initially displayed on the Completed page for all learners.
When learners review a completed course or learning path, all steps—including any associated completed items, such as polls, in-class events, virtual events, and On-the-Job Trainings—are expanded by default for easy viewing.
If learners prefer more space while reviewing the content, they can collapse the right-side menu by selecting the right-arrow icon within the course. To reopen the menu and view the completed steps again, select the left-arrow icon.
For more information, see Revisit a Completed Course.
Note: Completed course steps are available for review only when the Multiple completions are allowed setting on the Edit general info page is configured as View steps after completion without retaking the course.
If the Retake is required to view steps. Enables self-retake option for users option is selected instead, learners are redirected to the course's About page.
How UKG Learning Opens Courses That Are Part of Learning Paths
When you open a course from a card-listing page, such as My Training, Overview, or a similar page, UKG Learning automatically directs you based on your access to the course.
If the course is available to you, the Course Experience page opens directly. You do not need to choose whether to take the course as a standalone course or through a Learning Path. If the course is also part of one or more Learning Paths you are enrolled in, your completion can still count toward the applicable Learning Path progress.
If the course is not available because of Learning Path lock rules, UKG Learning takes you to the Course About page. There, you may see a message explaining that the course is connected to one or more Learning Paths and asking you to select a Learning Path.
After you select a Learning Path and continue, UKG Learning takes you to the first available step in that Learning Path.
Learning Paths are displayed in this message only when they include a reason why the course is currently locked. For example, the course may be unavailable because:
- Prerequisites have not been completed.
- The Learning Path must be completed in a specific order.
- The course is scheduled to open later.
When a Learning Path is shown, UKG Learning also provides information about why the course is locked so you know what needs to happen before you can access it. Unlocked Learning Paths are not shown in this message.
Other access rules may also affect whether you can open a course, such as course prerequisites, missed due dates, limited access, or retake and multiple-completion settings. In these cases, the Course About page provides the relevant access information or next steps.
For a more detailed explanation of this experience, refer to Take a Course That's Part of a Learning Path.
